11 miles up Rattlesnake Gulch (no rattlesnakes today) to the Pipeline Trail and back. I took a couple detours up the Grandeur Peak trails just to check them out.

9:35 pace. Stopped a couple times to appreciate the stunning nature of Utah. I also stopped a couple times to do pull ups from tree branches and to hoist big rocks because I read in Outside that Max King does that on his runs.

He's a good example of a strong runner who's a strong runner. Guess I no longer have excuses that our gym doesn't have a bar. The trees in the park might require some serious climbing before I can get to a branch though.

I am really enjoying reading about your forrays into trail running. I'm going to drop you off some maps (not that you need them, but they are just fun to look at!).

Maps? I just go wherever the trail goes.

Maps! That's what trail runners study when they're not out on the trails!

Frying Pan - Grand Wash Loop! Or run the Burr Trail road with a shuttle and then get breakfast at Hell's Backbone.
