I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run 

Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.

Personal:

I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

Well, it was fun to getback at it and also to see many old friends and former Alta runners. Didn't wear a watch and ran conservatively the first half of the race. Had a ton of high school kids to pace and draft of of.

Got a pair of socks and a package of Costco hot dogs for winning my age group. Actually, the hot dogs were for second place and first place got a gift card to "Nothing Bundt Cakes". I asked for the 2nd place prize and they coplied!

Did I mention it was great to race? Racing is the best part of running!
