Had a nice morning run in Sandy before school. Going to try to hit 90 miles for the week, mostly slow and easy with lots of trails and hills. Average 15 a day - will be tough with PT conferences Wednesday and Thursday

PM: 8.25 mile trail run in the gully. This is an estimate as my 2 month old Garmin 405 doesn't work anymore.

It probably has a warranty. Send it back and get the 110 instead!

I emailed them and am waiting for a response. They said two business days.

Sounds like a good plan for the week - build some strength while not doing anything to risk tweaking that hammy any further.

Have you tried a hard reset on the Garmin?

From Fritz on Tue, Feb 28, 2012 at 12:31:19 from 65.116.116.6

I am sorry that your watch doesn't work. It's partly my fault that you bought it. If given the choice I would go with the 305.

Instructions to perform a Master Reset on the Forerunner 405:

1) Press and Hold down BOTH the Start/Stop and Lap/Reset Buttons (these are the two silver buttons on the right hand side)

2) Keep these two buttons pressed in for 6 seconds and the screen will go blank

3) Release the Start/Stop button (the top one) and continue to hold the Lap/Reset button for 3 additional seconds, then Release it

4) Select ?YES? (Enter Button) to the prompt asking to clear user data

5) This will erase ALL data and then guide you through all of the introductory menus once again

Why not 91?

From J Cole on Tue, Feb 28, 2012 at 19:46:28 from 75.138.127.81

That makes 3 things I've heard about the 405. All 3 were negative. Hope you get it fixed!
