15.25 miles on the treadmill. About halfway through I did 5 x 1/2 mile in 2:42. Thus, I strategically embedded a VO2 Max workout in the midst of a medium long run. Pretty crafty I think.

Now, from 6 to 8 PM I get to attend the Alta High School School - Community Council meeting. A day with absolutely no interaction with my family and no State of the Union Address for me - shameful for a social studies teacher.

Good run though. Shows I have my priorities in order.

Bummer on no family time - BUT that is a very good workout. You gonna take it out hard off the start for me on Saturday?

Absolutely you have your priorities straight. I love your creativity so much that I may try a similar workout tomorrow...I'm due for a medium-long run anyway.

At what pace did you run the pre and post interval miles, Professor Murphy?

By the way, I just finished Stephen Ambrose's Undaunted Courage. It is excellent.

Serious workout. I need whatever guts you have that enable you to stand running on a treadmill. I would have hung myself with the power cord at 11 miles.
