Two mile warm-up on the treadmill.

10 miles in 59:15. Kept it at 10 mph for the first 7 miles. Worked up gradually to 11 mph by the end. Felt good.

One mile cool down.

The treadmill 10 miler in under 60 minutes used to be one of my go to workouts but this is the first time I've completed it this year. Every other time I've tried I have bailed in the middle and modified the workout. Today was the first day I had the focus to do it. So I'm happy with that.

Hoping to get a big weekend in mileage wise. Long run in the morning with Jeff Shadley.

PM: 4.25 miles.

Nice job, That is one of my goals to get a sub 1 hour 10 mile treadmill run in before my race. I'm a long ways from it now.

Good run Rob.

You still going to Colorado this weekend?

I'm guessing you guys are starting super early tomorrow - this is one occasion that I need to be a 3 year old and sleep in - gotta catch back up on my sleep.

Nice job Rob - very strong workout.

Jake - I think Jeff and I are going for a long run at around 4 tomorrow morning. Yikes!

Rob - it's as much mental as anything. You have to resign yourself to the suffering and marinating in the pool of sweat for an hour.

Cool - I'll still be asleep when you are finishing up the run.

Can I come?

From Rob Murphy on Fri, Mar 02, 2012 at 12:09:58 from 76.27.122.13

Absolutely Rob. But why would you want to?

Jeff is in town for a class he's taking. He has to leave my house at 7:30. You'd have to be at my house by 4.

But feel free to join us. Drop me a private message if you want.

Looking forward to the run??!!? Dang, when you write it down, 4am just LOOKS early.

That is why people call runners crazy!

See you tonight, we are leaving at 4pm and hope to make good time to your place. We are bringing wine, beer and dessert!

Come on Jake, wake up and join us!

Haha I'd love to but there is this little race in Boston coming up in 6 weeks and I'm trying to stay on top of my recovery :-)

4:00 is no problem for me, I just need to bail on my run with Ryan. PM me your address.
