Six miles of ancillary training.

1 mile warm-up on the elliptical

225 floors on the stair master

PM: 3.4 mile walk with Ann in 57 minutes. Pretty speedy for me as I'm not a good fast walker. We declared child #1 old enough to babysit child #2 while we go for walks. It's a good cheap date too.

Spent a lot of time working in the yard today and it looks pretty decent. I need a new hammock though and can't believe how expensive a decent one is. Mine was a father's day present about ten years ago.

I'll be sad when Andy stops using the word "lawnmower" as a verb. For example "dad don't lawnmower over that tennis ball".

By the way, "ancillary training" is the official coaching term for cross training.

Grilling some burgers now with some sweet potato fries and cold "soda pops".

We are in the situation of deciding when child 1 can babysit child 2 and 3. What age did you deam appropriate?

11 and a half. Still wouldn't do dinner and a movie or anything like that. But a Sunday afternoon walk seems totally reasonable.

But responsibility is good for them right?

Sounds like an all around very nice way to spend a Sunday.

Thanks, ancillary is my new favorite word now. I have a about one more month of full-time ancillary-ing...

Rob, you always write some of the best blog entries. One of these days we should get together and enjoy one of those cold "soda pops" together:)

Looks like the majority of people in salt lake use the term "soda" with "pop" not far behind at #2. I don't know where the combo "soda pop" ranks.

Congrats to Abby for her promotion.

Listen, Rob, I'm in the south now so have to say Soda or Soda Pop. Likewise, you need to transition over to just Pop.

Ah, sweet potatoe fries...
