Hot afternoon track workout at USU.  I went out at about 2:00 pm and I was grateful for the drinking fountains that were on at the track.  I think they are the only drinking fountains on in the whole valley!  I did 2x1600 meters with an 800 meter cool-down in between.  My first mile was 5:19 and my second one was a 5:16.  I felt pretty good for both repeats, a little better in the second one.   It is nice to know that the rest of the week is very easy until Saturday.  Total time was 41:10.

That's some pretty good speed James. I'm pumped for you guys this weekend. Good luck and enjoy these next few days of the taper. Go break 2:40 this weekend so you can get really crazy at STGM.
