I met Jon at the end of Hollow Road at 6:00 am.  We ran up to the Hydro Park in Blacksmith Fork canyon.  On the way up there was a nasty headwind, and I thought that it was going to make for a very long and hard run, but it mellowed down after a couple of miles.  We ran up to the park in about 53 minutes (7 miles).  On the way down we did some faster miles to get a feel for the 15K on the 4th.  We did two fast in 11:53, one slow in 8:55 (talking to some slower runners), two fast in 11:53, one slow in 7:36, and one more fast with the big hill at the end in 5:48.  We added on another 3.5 miles at the end down Hollow Road and back to give me over 60 miles and Jon 70 miles for the week.  It was a good run today and felt good to get some tempo miles in.  I am looking forward to the race on the 4th now.

James, good miles for the week. I think there is a little clip of you finishing the relay on the ragnar website. You have to click on one of the videos and it is about half way through. Have you felt any soreness or fatigue this week? I felt ok earlier in the week, but I've been hurting a little the last two days.

Dustin,

I was pretty sore at the beginning of the week but have felt good the last couple of days.

I saw that you were running the 15K on the blog. My wife Katey and I will be up in Logan late Monday night because she has classes until late. I will plan on seeing you at the start. I will have my St. George Running Center singlet on. Nice job on the miles this week. Have a good weekend!

I hope you have an excellent race Wed as your training today was ideal for knowing what to expect on that course. Thanks for supporting us at the race and everything. Grand Canyon here we come...
