Easy afternoon run down to the Temple and back.  It was a nice warm day and I was excited about a very short and easy run.  I did 5x100 meter strides in the middle of my run and felt pretty good.  23:13

(Adrenaline-149)

All of my training for Ogden is now complete and it feels good.  Now all I need to work on is my mental attitute.  I always start to get doubtful of my training at this point and start to notice all the little aches and pains.  Funny how that works!  I know I am in better shape than I have been in years and I have had good health too, I think I am ready to throw down a good run on Saturday.   You never know what can happen in a race that long, but if I feel good I should PR for sure.  My only regret is that I haven't been getting much sleep lately, but I still have a couple of days to rest up.  I weighed in yesterday at 163 pounds, my lightest weight in six years!

Good Luck on Saturday! I'm getting pretty excited for the half, even though I don't feel like I'm in top shape, I still feel pretty good. Congrats on the low weight! that is always exciting, I'm trying to work my extra pounds off.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the positive comments. I don't know if I am really excited about the low weight because all I am burning is muscle, but it should help being lighter in the marathon.

I am running the half on Saturday, the full is still a bit daunting to me, I am hoping to have a good day. I doubt Bob will be running at all, he injured his hip a couple weeks ago and is still walking in pain and been unable to run. I know he is planning on going up, but I would be surprised to see him run.

Good luck James! You're going to have a great race. BTW the picture of your son is sooo cute. I never noticed that he was wearing your shoes before. Adorable!
