Running Accomplishments:

Did a half a few years ago, unsure of my time but nothing to write home about. I trained about 6 months and then took about 2yrs. off. Started running again this year but have never done anything serious.

Short-Term Running Goals:

keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Get my mileage back up and run pain free!

No running today just an update.  My hip is doing better but I'm still not running much.  Everyday I walk at least 3 miles and alternate it with a little running but although the pain is mainly gone, it swells up around Wed. or Thurs. each week so I don't dare push it too much.  Some days I'm actually walking in the mornings and evenings for a total of 6 miles a day, so I guess although the progress is slow, it is coming!!

SOOOOOOOOOOOO good to see you on here!!! Where have you been!?! I'm glad things are getting better, although slowly. Keep it up and you should still blog the walking miles. Just at least check in! How is Jaime doing? What else is new? It's been WAY too long!

Yes, definately blog the walking miles. If your heartrate is up it counts for sure! SO good to hear from you!

Great job, Michelle! Wow you are still doing a fabulous job of exercising. 6 miles of walking is a lot. I used to walk an hour a day and it always made me loose weight. Good luck with that hip!
