Did a half a few years ago, unsure of my time but nothing to write home about. I trained about 6 months and then took about 2yrs. off. Started running again this year but have never done anything serious.

Short-Term Running Goals:

keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Get my mileage back up and run pain free!

I managed 2 miles on Thurs. before leaving to go to St.george for the weekend, pretty pathetic week of running.... I think that I am going to be cutting back a little bit on the running for the time being, but I will continue to blog some and love all the support and great comments that I get and hear as I follow along with you all!

Hey Michelle, I can imagine you have to cut back a bit with some of the things going on with you. Hopefully you can keep with 3 miles a day or so to keep from loosing what you have built. Please keep in contact on the blog and we will cheer you no matter where you are and how many miles you are doing!

What what what?! I hope you are still planning on running the Striders half? And what does "blog some" mean? Hey!

Hey Michelle! Don't feel bad about not running Fri or Sat, you were on vacation. I just hope you had fun w/ you hubby & his fam. Hopefully got in some good shopping? That stinks that the private messaging isn't working. My email is christi@summitmortgageut.com. Email me the specifics of what's going on! Do you just need a touch of spring and a fun 5 or 10k? Did wonders for Lybei & I do run a recent race... Or is it more?Thinking about you!

No one can fault you for needing a break, Michelle, especially with all Jamie's been going through lately (and by default - you too). But, knowing you, I doubt you could give up your running much at all! ;o) I hope you can find something to help refill your empty cup, though. I'll be thinking about you.

HOpe you enjoyed your trip to St. George - I'm always jealous when I hear of people going there! I will be with you on taking a little break, but still enjoying the blog.
