Did a half a few years ago, unsure of my time but nothing to write home about. I trained about 6 months and then took about 2yrs. off. Started running again this year but have never done anything serious.

Short-Term Running Goals:

keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Get my mileage back up and run pain free!

I got out for a quick 5. Nice temps. but a little wind from the north that put a little chill through me because I was dressed pretty light! Not a dog problem to speak of today! That never happens! Maybe my luck is changing! Yet another crazy week.... I'm hoping to get to St. George on Thurs. and I'll try to get some running in down there. That would be a nice change and I'm so due to get out of the house and maybe relax a bit. My oldest daughter is coming home from college to take care of my other two girls and do the dressing changes on Jamie and all the other fun stuff that she needs. I'm really looking forward to it! But the oldest daughter called today and didn't sound good at all... Influenza is running rampant around here, I hope that she doesn't have it and that she will be up the job of taking over for me for a few days!!!

Hey, I would love to run with you Friday morning! We should try to get Mik'L, Amanda and whoever else to run with us too. I'll "private message" my numbers to you so you can call when you get in town! (What brings you down to sunny SG?)

Uggh, hope things can work out for your R&R and that all your daughters feel well soon! Great job on the run, I look forward to when I can run a "quick 5" thanks for the inspiration!
