keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Got the run in early this morning. I put on every warm thing I had to head out and thought I might freeze to death but when I stepped out of the garage it was actually quite warm and I was pleasantly surprised! Ran with the hubby this morning and it felt quite good. Contrary to popular belief, I think the day off yesterday did the body good. Legs felt nice and fresh today. My hubby ditched out early this morning to get ready for work and I haven't been wearing my ipod when we run together and I was surprised how enjoyable the run was without the music and doing the last couple of miles alone. It was a nice peaceful morning and even my huffing and puffing wasn't too bad today. May even take another nap today, I logged 7 hours for sleep, but that was time in bed, just not sleeping well the last two nights. Maybe it was too many night shifts in a row that has the clock all messed up but I feel like I was up every hour on the hour last night! One more thought....My husband is having pain on the outside of his foot, along the edge. Anyone have any thoughts on that. It is really bothering him after the 8 miles run the other day. I need to get him feeling better, was just starting to like having him along (HE,HE) JK!! Thought that I have had almost all running pains and problems there is to have, but no experience here....thankfully!

Nice job getting the run in early. Sounds like it was a great run and the rest did you good! I'm suprised you sleep as well as you do for working night shifts. Jim is always messed up going between his nights on & off! You are amazing!! Not sure about your hubby's foot, but I wonder if he's pronating and rolling on the outside of his foot- maybe he needs motion control shoes? Take that for what its worth- I know nothing!! Have a great day Michelle!

Great job!! I do not know how you do it, working nights and trying to raise a family. I agree with Christi on the shoes - I think that they can cure almost anything. Maybe I need a new pair too.

What a rough night, Michelle. I'm so sorry - I hate nights like that. I'm still up at least once every night to nurse, so I completely sympathize! Great job running - looks like you're really gonna be ready for your 1/2!! Bring it on!

Good run, Michelle! Sorry about the rough nights. Boy that really adds up! You are so cute running with your hubby all the time. You used to be so sad that you had no running buddy, and look! Now you have the best running buddy possible. It just goes to show--if you keep at it, the running buddy will come...
