Running Accomplishments:

Did a half a few years ago, unsure of my time but nothing to write home about. I trained about 6 months and then took about 2yrs. off. Started running again this year but have never done anything serious.

Short-Term Running Goals:

keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Get my mileage back up and run pain free!

Four miles total, 1.25 walking and 2.75 running.  Not much but better than nothing I guess.  Hip felt fine during the run, but a little tight now.  I hope that I can work up to running at least 4-5 times a week soon but I don't want to push it back any further.  This has been the most frustrating thing ever!!!

Hey Michelle!

No joke, this has been a long process. But the good news is that you are on this side of it. I.e. it is all up from here (hopefully!). Congratulations on keeping up your fitness through all of this. You are an inspiration!

I hope you are back to blogging for good??? We've missed you! Good job. Almost 3 miles of running is pretty good, especially for not doing too much lately. Keep it up slowly and you'll be fine!

Happy to hear from you! Hopefully things continue to progress for you! My personal opinion is that the aches and pains are less when you run slow every day instead of missing days. I have been injured less as I have been more consistent than when I skipped days. Hope you find what works best for you!
