keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Well I'm hoping to get out and run today after I get home from work and catch a few zzzz's.  I did something to my good hip last week on my TWO runs.  It's not the hip, just the muscle that wraps around the hip and it's so painfull.  Wed. It hurt to walk so I've just stayed away from the running.  It's still hurts, but I can't stand not running so I think I'll try a mile or two sometime today.

Last week was crazy terrible at our house.  For the crazy we spend Wed-Sat. going to the state 1A basketball tournament that my husband and I have 3 nephews combined playing on the same team.  They were pretty good and had a shot at it but ended up getting beat.  But the fun part about it was that the starting 5 players got to be flown back to New York today to be on Good Morning America because one of the players was in an accident when he was young and has only one arm.  It was fun to watch them and be with family for the weekend. But on Sat. we got some very heartbreaking news.  One of my husbands neices was diagnosed with a neuro blastoma (cancer)  she is a darling 16 month old, the family caboose.  The tumor right now is to large to operate and is wrapped around major vessels and near the heart.  We are all so sad.  I will be taking Jamie to Primary Childrens on Friday to see her doctor, that is where they are too.  I hope that if Jamie is having her next surgery soon that al least we will all be in the hospital together.  They have no idea when they will be going home.  They will start chemo this week and then operate when it shrinks.  Seems like we have just had one hard thing after another....

Michelle, I am so sorry! It is so sad that a little tiny one should suffer with cancer. Geez!

Also sorry about your hip--yeeeouch! Hope it heals quickly. Good luck with all the stuff you have going on--may things calm down soon...and STAY CALM!!! You deserve a break, for goodness sakes.

PS I am injured too, so we should hang out virtually and be injured together. :)

It's good to hear from you Michelle, but I am sad you have so many emotional things going on in your life right now. I am feeling quite the same way on lots of things going on with our families. I guess that is just how this life on earth is. I'm just happy there are rainbows at the end of a big thunder storm! I hope you will be seeing rainbows soon! :)

Michelle- Wow- busy, busy and all these events requiring emotional work too! Best wishes to your little niece, that is heartbreaking. I taught a lesson on Endurance in RS yesterday- I was amazed at the stories shared by sisters in our ward- they have been through some amazing things and come out on top- I know we can too! One day at a time!

Sorry about the bad news. Hope things will get better. If winter ever ends that could be a start to some good news. Your doing a good job with everything... Keep up the good work.

Oh wow...you are getting a little bit of everything thrown at you! I'm glad you are tough and can handle it! How's Jamie doing? Just take it easy with the running, I've been slacking myself. We watched the boys on GMA this morning and they were cute. Well Porter was cute, the rest of them just stood in the background and smiled!

I am sorry to hear you are going through so much right now. Hang in there!
