Been having some restless sleep the past few nights. Even though I'm getting enough hours I think the quality of my sleep is not good. Anyway because I was already up... and because I'm babysitting my grandson today and didn't need to be up as early. I was able to run in the morning. And what a beautiful morning it was. I thought to myself that I probably didn't even need a head light because the moon was so bright. But I still had it... I'm too worried that cars won't see me. My left heel with the PF bugged for about the first mile then eased off. I almost went back home, but it eased off enough to keep going. Anyway my grandson is napping now... I'm having a great time with him!!! 7.06 - 1:03:04 laps: 9:19, 9:23, 8:33, 8:43, 9:16, 8:47, 8:32

| | Ran after work... my normal route on the parkway. I think I may have to change what my normal route is, or change the distance on the parkway and do part on the treadmill at the gym. I'm still trying to figure out what I will do. The change in time has made it get too dark at the end of my run and I'm not comfortable running there when it's dark. Like I said I will be rethinking what I'm going to do. The run felt pretty good, I have been icing my heel so it didn't bug too much. Hip felt better since the massage, so I hope that holds for a while. 7.10 miles - AP 8:48

Had a pretty crazy day… when you add just one more thing to your day it seems to make it all too busy! Got a slow and easy six miles in after my doctor appointment, it felt pretty good to just take it easy and zone out on the treadmill. The NP doctor that I go to is in SLC so I was late getting a run in. I didn’t want to run in the dark so I went to the gym I was surprised at how packed the gym is in the evening. I had to wait for a few minutes to get a treadmill.
The doctor tweaked a few of my meds. so we’ll see if it helps. Even though I have been feeling soooo much better. It’s so nice not to have the muscle aches and fatigue that I used to have. It’s a new experience to go to an NP doc. they are so different then standard doctors, after talking with her about some things I could do to help with some weight loss, she said “You also need to learn to love and embrace to new middle age body” At first I wanted to say “No way… to heck with that” I rethought about how true her words are. We really need to learn to love ourselves no matter where we are… maybe if I quite hating my body so much it will love me back… and we will heal and loose weight J
Hopefully this new attitude will also help me with the new sculpt I have been struggling with, at first she seemed to be coming together so well, but now I may need to amputate her leg to get things to work right. Oh and I made a big mistake going into a fabric store the other day… Remember I got a new sewing machine? I have been wanting to make some new projects, do I went to get some fabric…. I swear it’s like a drug….all the colors, patterns and textures!!! I was out of control…. I walked out 2 hours later and almost 100 dollars poorer. I think I need a 12 step program to help with my sculpting/crafting addiction.

| | Did my circuit/speed workout tonight. It went pretty well, except for one time that I had got off the treadmill to do one of my weight circuits... a guy tried to hop on my treadmill. Just as I was getting back to it he was getting on, so when I tried to get my water bottle and stuff, he got off. I told him it was OK but glad that that he got off. I was thinking as I got back on... there was plenty other empty treadmills but he wanted the one with a water bottle and all my stuff on it... just weird. My heel started hurting on the cool down part of my run. | | Slow... I'd like to say easy, but nothing felt real easy about it. Heal was bugging the entire time. I will have to be more diligent about icing and stretching. |

| | Wonderful day running in the trails about Ogden with Sue!! Heal did not bug me as much on the trails as it does on the cement. Wish I could make it up there more often. Felt pretty oxygen dept. on the hills, legs got heavy at the end. Glad it's the weekend. AP 10:39
