Today was a run out of frustration! It has just been one of those days when bosses, co-workers, children, mother's, and husbands all seem to tell you that you are not meeting their expectation/needs. It's been one of those days when all I really wanted to do was run away and join a circus. So instead I just ran....all was not resolved but I did feel a bit better at the end. It got a bit warm towards the end of my run, and there was one flash back to a childhood trauma that involved a grasshopper, I'm sure you all had one of those also.  Other then that nice run! As I hit the stop button I looked down at my garmin, it read 1:00:00. I don't think that has ever happed before for me.

Nice run, Lori, even if it was out of frustration! :) Great miles! I hear you. I got talked to at work about how I don't meet expectations, and then when I tried to explain my actions the managers looked at me as if saying, "why are you talking to us? we told you how it is!". Hope tomorrow is a better day. At least Monday is out of the way for you!

Nice run Lori! I call those my Forrest Gump days. Have you ever seen that movie? I always imagine myself just running off like he did in the movie.

I'm glad you just ran and didn't join the circus. Those are some pretty fast splits. Is that what frustration does to you?

Thanks everyone... on to the next day! Auntieem, I love that movie, especially the part were he is running across the country. Then when he is tell her all cool places he had seen.

Carolyn, sometimes I think the circus would be fun... but I guess it's good that I just ran instead of running away. Frustration must make me a bit faster LOL maybe it's kinda a good thing LOL.

I have had those "running away" runs before. It is so therapeutic. So cool that you ran exactly an hour. I always wanted to do that...7 miles (well, you did 7.02) in exactly an hour. I hope you have a better day today and not joining the circus.

Nice run, gotta love it when you can escape that way!!

The grasshoppers are freaking me out lately, I am afraid they will jump right up my shorts!
