6 miles after work, at a slow recovery type pace. I had to stop at the 2 mile mark for a pit stop. And then again in about another mile because I was having some technical difficulties with my music. Or I guess it's with my ear buds, I think I sweat so much that I short out my headphones all the time. I usually need to replace them about every 6-8 months. Anyway legs felt pretty heavy and tired today. My heel was OK today... in fact it was my hip that was bugging more today. Oh well onward ever onward LOL.

So that's what's wrong with my headphones!

Good job getting out there. I'm impressed with the way you run after work. If I don't do it first thing in the morning, it doesn't happen.

And I in turn am completely impressed with your ability to get up and run early in the morning. When I'm get myself up I do like having it done.

That makes me laugh about your earbuds because I have the same problem. And they always start slipping out about 2 miles into it because of all the sweat. it's a pain!

Sweat ears? EWWWW!!! Gross!!! LOL!

I have the ear phones that wrap around your ears. I stuff them under my glasses and they usually hold fine. But I haven't listened to music in forever. I should start again.

I'm with Burt, I do the wrap around ones - I've tried the others and I hate having them slip out of my 'sweaty gross ears' :)

Great job getting out and getting those miles in!!

I have wrap-around ones, and they still slip sometimes! I must be really sweaty.

From Burt on Tue, Aug 18, 2009 at 14:59:33 from 68.76.197.194

Yes you are Carolyn.

From Burt on Tue, Aug 18, 2009 at 14:59:47 from 68.76.197.194

I'm just kidding. No one sweats more than I do.

I knew you were kidding, Burt, especially since you've never met me. I feel honored to be the object of your teasing.

Nice motivation to get out there late in the day. I find that difficult. I always imagine that I won't have energy later in the day. On days when I actually am forced to run late, I have the same energy, its just the getting out the door part is SOOO hard.

From Metcalf Running on Tue, Aug 18, 2009 at 16:44:27 from 207.225.192.66

My schedule is that I run right after work, I don't go home until I'm done. I think if I went home first I would have a hard time getting back out the door. But when I do get my fanny up in the morning it's very nice to have more time after work to accomplish some things.

I will have to try the wraparound headphones for my sweaty ears! LOL
