What a crazy night! As much as I love getting together with my sisters, it makes for a very busy day. I got off work a bit early so I could get a run in before I had to meet up with my sisters. But as always there was more then I expected and by the time I left work... changed into my running close, and got on the road I didn't have as much time as I would have liked. So I decided to push myself a bit and run three miles at a fast pace that I could hold the entire three miles. Luckily all the street light's... cars and people were very corroperative and I didn't have to wait or slow down during the three miles. But about mile 21/2 the wheels were getting very wobbly... but I kept the pace and by the end was happy to stop. I stopped my garmin, and walked about 20 yards, to catch my breath, then did the last two miles at a more moderate pace. All in all I felt pretty good with this workout.

I was a little late meeting up with my sisters for the sister date, but it was a great time, didn't get home until pretty late and didn't sleep well again! I will do longer and slower tommorrow (today).

Super run! Very rarely that I have as considerate and cooperative people when I'm biking/running. Funny thing.. even if I am stopped at a 4 way intersection and I am there first, several times I have started to go andbeen cut off by motorists.

You're going to have fun at the 1/2 next Saturday! :)

Thanks everyone... It acutally felt good to push myself and I have nto been able to say that for a while.

HC - it was amazing that I was able to get through the streets without any problems. I was surprised and happy the entire three miles, that I didn't get cut off by a car or yelled at by someone. That is usually the case. My younest son bikes alot and I'm always worried about him... cars just don't look for bikers or runners.
