I had a wonderful run after work today, it was not to warm. I did the lower part of the parkway, around the pond then to the underpass at 21st. But it's locked there because of water. The water has receded but the path is covered in mud, I guess they will open the gates when they get it cleaned up. I lapped the pond a couple of times so I could get 8 miles.

So after my run my hubby decided we needed to hike Malan's Peak. He is trying to get into better shape and for some reason I need to go with him. So I know this is not leagally running miles. But if any of you know this hike it is about 2 miles to the top and about 7-9% grade. It is STEEP!And it was hard... I'm tired. But I figured this would be good for me because my last leg of Wasatch Back is 4 miles at a 7.6% grade. It had been sprikling a bit the entire hike. It was fun watching the lighting and hearing the thunder roll around the canyon. When we were about 50 yards to the car, the sky opened up and it was like buckets pouring on us for a couple of minutes.. I got soaked, but by the time we were down the street it stopped. That's weather in Utah :)

Great run and great hike. No wonder you're tired. Sorry you got soaked, but at least you were on your way home then.

It sounds like you're feeling pretty good.
