Didn't sleep very well last night. The plan was to park at the gym, do my run then go into the gym and do some weights, stretches and abs. So I have been having some emotional runs, don't know why but sometimes I just get teary. So I thought I might as well have a good reason to get emotional, so I ran to the cemetery were my friend is buried. 1.5 miles to his grave, had a good cry for a bit, then ran around the perimeter of the cemetery, and through all the cross streets for another mile or so. Then around the neighborhood. and back to the gym. All in all a pretty good run, a bit slower then yesterday. When I could finally pull myself together after his death the cemetery was my first run, in fact I think it was my first few runs. So it was kind-of nice to do it again. Makes me miss him alot though.

* My friend was an old school skate boarded, besides a runner. There were skate board wheels at his grave, I later found out that my son was the person that left them. :)

Lori, you are such a sweet person! I'm sorry about your friend... sounds like his memory and life are still alive in you and in your son's hearts...

Those are some great splits!

That really does sound like an emotional run. I'm so sorry about your friend. I hope that running makes you feel better.

Thanks, ladies... Sometimes I have emotional times, don't know why... it's not a bad thing... just who I am. :)
