Short-Term Running Goals:

It's been a challenging year so far since Boston 2011.  When I got home from Boston my world changed when I found out I had some pretty severe food allergies. Since being tested I have been focused on building my health back up which has been a long slow process. What a difference it's made and I feel extremely blessed. For years I knew something was wrong and it's amazing to finally know that food can actually be a persons medicine to live a healthy life. 

Long-Term Running Goals:

I'm hoping to start building more miles when I can and be injury free.  Maybe one of these days I'll be fast. Just for now I'm just very happy to be running.

Personal:

Happily married to Marlin Ordway. We've got 4 grown children between the two of us.  It's been fun watching them go through life - making mistakes and picking themselves back up.  I love seeming them happy and succeeding.

Ended up at the gym today due to the snow. Sure wish it was good enough to run outside.  I was alittle tired at the end, but I ran 7 miles today.  Kept it between a 8:40- 9:00 pace. Different running on a TM. Overall, good run.

Six miles at the gym today.  I would have liked to run outside by it was breezy and didn't know how cold it would be.  It's alittle hard getting used to running on a TM.  Kinda boring.

Was tempted today to run outside.  But, i kinda like being able to stretch more and do planks & situps after running.   The run was eastier today than yesterday.  I did a few cruise intervals today.  Good run.

Ended up at the gym again today. Just can't get motivated to run outside when it's gloomy.  Ended up running 10 miles.  After the 6th mile I just kept adding 1more and when I reached 8 knew I'd need to do 10.  I figured I'd have to take today off because I have to drive to Salt Lake to pick up my son from the airport this morning.  Can't wait to see him.  He's here until Tue!
