Short-Term Running Goals:

It's been a challenging year so far since Boston 2011.  When I got home from Boston my world changed when I found out I had some pretty severe food allergies. Since being tested I have been focused on building my health back up which has been a long slow process. What a difference it's made and I feel extremely blessed. For years I knew something was wrong and it's amazing to finally know that food can actually be a persons medicine to live a healthy life. 

Long-Term Running Goals:

I'm hoping to start building more miles when I can and be injury free.  Maybe one of these days I'll be fast. Just for now I'm just very happy to be running.

Personal:

Happily married to Marlin Ordway. We've got 4 grown children between the two of us.  It's been fun watching them go through life - making mistakes and picking themselves back up.  I love seeming them happy and succeeding.

No run today because I worked a 12 hour day.  We're trying to finish end of month quota's so we're working extra hoping to take Friday off.  I haven't been feeling well since the end of last week so didn't have the energy after working.

Ran after work today.  Still haven't been feeling well. I haven't had this hard of run since I don't remember when.   Didn't feel like I could get a deep breath.  Took it easy and wanted to just get some miles in.  The last week has really been lacking. I've had an allergic reaction to something....not sure what.   Had went to the doc the end of last week and they we're sure either. Just trying to feel better.

I felt alittle bit better today. Much easier run.  Felt like I even had energy left at the end.  Feeling more and more like what ever I had a reaction to is finally getting out of my system. Actually felt like I could pick up the pace during the run.  I'm loving the weather!

Another warm day.  I worked later than I wanted to.  Meeting end of month quota's is a pain at times.  Spent some time at work today looking into transferring to another dept. Mainly because I've been doing this job for probably 3 yrs or so. 

After work didn't really feel like running.  But, I went to the river and was able to run 7.  I was alittle tired, but very glad I did it.  I'm not working tomorrow so I'm looking forward to sleeping in alittle - longer than 4 or 5am - getting a good run in with cooler weather.

Had the day off today so I was able to run in the morning before leaving with Marlin to go up to his fishing hole.   Heading up past Salmon for the weekend.  Should be interesting.

Ran 6 miles up in the mountains.  Nice nice run. Ran along the river. Beautiful. Felt good to get 6 miles in.
