I just started college and am a little lost without my xc and track from high school!  But I'm beginning to breach the long-distance scene, which is fantastic!

I went in the morning around the neighborhood. I still haven't gotten a watch, but it was about ten minute miles and felt ok- my legs are great, but my cardio still needs work.

Amanda,

Your training looks good! I'm glad that you are getting out there running, and doing it pain free. If you want to increase your cardio as your mileage is coming up, you could jump on the bike or elliptical for another 1/2 hour or so after you run for a little extra. Keep up the good work, and don't go crazy!!

That's a good idea, I wish I could but we don't have an eliptical and my stationary bike is still at the school. I'm planning on going to Steiner about once a week though and doing some cardio.
