Running Accomplishments:

Started running in 2001.  Have completed over 100 marathons and ultras since then. 

Marathon PR 2:56:04 (2005 St. George)

New PR 2:53:24 (2008 Tucson)

Finished 2nd Overall in 2005 Utah Grand Slam to Paul Peterson.  He beat me by 30 min in every race.

1/2 Marathon PR 1:23:56 (2008 Just Cuz Half Marathon)

Completed the Utah Grand Slam 10 consecutive years (2003-2012).  I don't know if anyone else has done that.

Short-Term Running Goals:

2023 Goals:

Be consistent in my Riding.

Drop a few lbs.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Maybe Run again someday.....if my knee allows it!

I'm in the 55-59 Age Group.....Yikes!

It was 12 degrees this morning with light winds towards the end of my run.  I had to wear all the normal winter gear and when I got home I had ice build-up on my neck warmer.  Yep....it's looking like winter running already.  I ran 8.53 miles slow but only had a few icy spots left over from Saturday's snow.

It was 14 degrees this morning.  I ran 10.68 just trying to stay warm.

It was 22 degrees...a bit better than the last few days.  I ran 8.48 miles and felt pretty good.

It was 21 degrees and basically calm this morning.  I ran 10.57 miles easy.  Nothing much to report.

It was 17 degrees this morning but it felt warmer than that except when the wind was in your face.  I ran 8.56 miles easy.  I saw Kory this morning and he looked like he was going too fast for me so I did not turn and run with him, I just said hi.  When I was finishing my run I scared up 6-7 pheasants in the field by my house.

It was 32 degrees, snowing for a while, and blowing this morning.  I was a wet mess when I finished.  I ran 11.68 miles fairly easy.
