It was 70 degrees this morning.  I ran a couple miles before the group run, then ran 5 more with Barry and Ben  before running home.  Total 8.22 miles.

I didn't blog last week.....I ran, but was too busy/lazy to worry about it.

Normally I do not like wind....but it was needed this morning.  It was 77 degrees when I got up this morning and only cooled to 75 by the time I left.  I drank extra water before I left and paid for it with a stomach cramp from mile 3 all the way back home.  I ran 10.38 cramped miles and it had warmed back to 78 by the time I got home.  YUCK.

I met Kory at Century HS at 5:30am so we could get finished before the heat.  Luckily it was cooler this morning.  It was 57 at Century but it was 70 at the top of Buckskin...weird.  About a mile in we found the cooler air again and had a very comfortable run.

I took a short-cut at Inkom to get ahead of Kory and it took him until 2 miles from the finish before he ran me down.  I knew I would have a target on my back and he plowed past me with authority!

I ran 19.70 miles and feel really good.  Kory ran some extra laps around Century to get some extra mileage.  It was probably still about 70 when we finished with some nice breezes in the gap...overall a good run.
