So ski season is winding down, I've skied more this winter than the past 4 previous winters. So now I'm sad its over. Also, I've put off a surgery I was scheduled for in February but begged the doc to put it off till then end of ski. So after I get back from spring break with my kids next week, I get to go under the knife again, and hope that yet again, I will recuperate 100%. I haven't been super excited to get really in shape right before this operation. I won't be running, lifting or doing sit ups for 4-5 weeks. The closing day at Sundance is april 7 but since I won't be there, my friends are having a special closing party for me up on Bearclaw. I will miss my ski pals. Skiing has been easier to figure out the hypoglycemia . Running is still tricky. I had to do a bunch of glucose tests to even determine if it is safe to operate. Sigh.

On an unrelated note, tonight when I was running, a carload of teenaged boys pulled along side of me with the windows down playing 'eye of the tiger" really loud. They made me laugh, so I gave the, the thumbs up. Love it, so funny.
