I wogged (more Wa than Ogg) along the Mt. Vernon trail with my sis.  It's right along the highway that leads to George Washington's home in Mt. Vernon.  But it is very lush compared to Utah, and runs parallel the Potomac. My original plan was to run my scheduled 17 miles with the locals (see ArgentineRocket).  But she is nursing a stress fracture and now I have this thing with my leg.... At least she has a good plan b to recover with all the bike riding and aqua jogging.  I thought maybe we could swing a bike ride.  But then I got really, really sick these past few days.  I either: a) don't ever want to go home to face my life again, and am having a psychosymatic episode or b) see a).

You HAVE to come back!! ;) The desert is calling!

I am sorry you got sick! Bummer! And again- you are running in the most beautiful places EVER!! WOW!

Luz, I'm glad you got to check out the Mt. Vernon trail even though you were so sick! How about you stay here and live my life, and I go back to Utah? Your family will NEVER know :)

Darn - I forgot about my accent... maybe they will notice after all ;)

How about I take over your life, right after you finish law school....P.S. with that accent you'll fit right in with my group of Chilean boys. Yes, you heard me...CHILE. I was going to break it to you while I was in DC that I was more familiar with the OTHER side of the Andes :)

What if we create a life-swap time-share program? Oh wait, I think there is a tv reality show, Wife Swap, or something like that already. It doesn't work out so well.

I am willing to chance it. Who wants to come to my home and take care of SIX kids (three teenage daughters and three little wild hooligan boys), a cute hubby, a bunny, and paint my kitchen cupboards?

From Lucia on Thu, Aug 14, 2008 at 16:50:39

See, that's why you got sick, you've been hanging around people from the WRONG side of the Andes ;)

I'm glad you've found your way now.

Very funny....:)

From Lucia on Thu, Aug 14, 2008 at 16:56:18

Marion, I have your life all figured out: just put your teenage daughters in charge of the wild boys, make your hubby get busy paiting the cupboards, and ask Sarah for a recipe for rabbit. Then you, me, and Luz can all go on a Caribbean cruise :)

Now that sounds PERFECT!! Tell me when and I will be there!!!
