I found the best new home remedy for a cold! Start by getting up at 6:30 a.m. to run 12 miles in the cold rain, then stand in your wet running clothes for two soccer games in a row (don't forget to get rained on!), then take your kids to where they have volunteered to help set up the kiddie Easter Egg hunt at  the park (again, keep your wet, salty clothes on WHILE it rains or it won't work), and then come home and drink some hot chicken broth with lemon and fresh garlic.  It totally works.

I missed you this morning. I'm glad you found a new "home brewed" remedy for cold. Gosh, I just read your post yesterday. I can't believe you ran late yesterday and got up early for a wet 12 miler; then volunteered to a zillion wet Easter activities. I loved reading about your Easter sentiment from yesterday's post. I hope your are truly cured. We had perfect weather in Draper. But I can see how you wouldn't be able to get to two soccer games and Easter Egg hunt set-up in time. Stay warm, dry and take a nice nap. HAPPY EASTER to you and your family!

I really wanted to come this morning, but owing to the soccer double header at 9 & 10:00, and then the volunteer Easter thing, I just couldn't. I hope it was fun. I actually like running in the rain, I just don't like having to stay in wet clothes afterwards. My run yesterday afternoon was so easy and therapeutic. I really needed to get outside. But I am pushing my luck with this cold. I feel pretty good today though. I'll be running with your group whenever I have help at home with the kids and time permits. Some days you just gotta get up earlier and stay close to home if you want to tuck those miles in. I'll be thinking of you pre-Boston and I'll catch up once you're back!

Luz - I would be willing to come down next Saturday morning and run in Provo with you. Maybe we can even get Sarah out for a little bit. However, if you keep insisting on running in wet, yucky weather, I may reconsider.

Luzy, we missed you this morning! The run wasn't as pretty as the JRP, but it was as good!! When you hit Bangerter, it was typical no-tree, sagebrush, Utah. The view however was amazing!!! I understand the whole time thing, but we will definately get together again. Are you running SL next weekend?? If not you and Maurine will have to cheer us on in your thoughts as you run together! Have a beautiful happy Easter and enjoy your family!!!

Hey lUz- I love your remedy! I sure hope it works for you!!! :) Great miles!!! The single parenting is hard to swing with life going full blast.

Maurine & Luz- Can I crash your Provo run? I was planning on trying for the 17 next week on the provo trail. How many do you need?
