I usually get two migranes a year.  One in February, and one in September/October.  But last month I had a string of them (like 5 in as many days).  I had a mild one yesterday, and another one today that has not gone away since this morning.  It's not the headache-pain that bothers me.  It's the vision disturbance, light senstivity, and the nausea.  The first time I had one I was 20 and I thought I was going blind.  I never had any more until my 30's.  Then only twice a year.  But I have had 7 in less than a month. I won't make the mistake of taking Imetrex this time.  I think that's what made me have more than just one last time.  I just hope this is the last one until Fall. Anyway, I had to turn to my old frienemy the treadmill to get my running done today.  Boring.

I must have been crying out for sympathy. Thank you. It has been hours, and it seems to be getting worse instead of better. Maybe it will be gone tommorrow morning. I hope.

If you have never had one like this before, you may need to consider being seen. If migraine changes, a new evaluation may be a really smart thing. I don't want to be an alarmist, but please think about seeing a doc. Hormone changes can cause migraine changes too :( Being a girl just plain stinks :p

Oh, you mean my brain tumor? That little old thing? Don't worry, it's no big deal, I'll just run through the pain :) JK I will go if things go on this way.

How's the head today? Any odd protrusions off to one side of your head? ;D

Nah, my head is always this swollen and crooked....I think (I know, I know I shouldn't be so sarcastic). I'll watch it. Today I woke up feeling pretty well. I have a bit of what I call 'residual' headache. I've had that before where the headache was so bad that it leaves a little something behind. But I do feel 100% better than yesterday. However, if I start convulsing today at work you can always say "I told you so." :)

I call the residual headache "hamburger head" ;) It feels like someone took a meat tenderizer to my brain!
