AM: 8 miles in Pendleton. It rained a bit along with the wind so not ideal conitions The hill back to the hotel was long and steep but I survived ;).

Hey what are you doing in Pendleton? Did you get hit with the wind today?
Not sure if you saw my reply but I was just wondering what races in Oregon might be worth traveling to in the coming months?

Work takes me to Hermiston, Pendleton and La Grande every few weeks for a day or two. It seems like the wind is always blowing in Pendleton!
I'm not too sure about any big time races coming up. The biggest road races are in March (shamrock 5/8/15k) and October (marathon). June 12th is a half marathon that I'm aiming for.

You could come for that, eh?

Actually yeah, that would be perfect. I'll throw that on my race calendar

If you do make it to Portland for that race (or any others for that matter), you're more than welcome to sleep at my house rather than pay for a hotel.
Unless, of course, you're a serial killer and then I rescind the offer.

Thanks man, I might take you up on that offer. I've left my mass murdering days behind me so you should be safe :)
