Running outside is not the devil, running outside is not the devil, running outside is not the devil....

This is what I was trying to convince myself of all through my run today.  Even though I think the complete opposite of that. I'm just such a treadmill lover.  But the plan is to just suck it up and  run outside from now on.

Hobble Creek, you better watch out.

Oh my. Running outside is truly 'not the devil'. In fact, it is quite the opposite. In time you will learn this lesson too. To help you come to this realization may I suggest running on roads with limited traffic or on one of the many river parkways where vegitation and nature outnumber people and cement. Eventually you may even find yourself on a dirt trail. But be careful there, you'll catch the bug and you won't want to run on roads or treadmills after that. Keep it up. You'll knock Hobble out of the park.

thanks Jun, ha ha I'm learning it's not the devil :). I think you're right about running on road with limited traffic. I like Provo Canyon, sometimes its just a little shady to run up there alone. So I need to find a running buddy and I'll be set. I'm just so used to the Treadmill. But I'm running outside again tomorrow so we'll see how it goes! :)
