21:11 6:50 pace This is a very small local race, only about 50 people. I am embarrassed with my overall time. This is a perfectly flat course and I wanted to race it to see where I am physically. Well, I'm not in a very good place. So I guess I need an excuse and I think I have one. Four days after Boston I had oral surgery, apicoectomy to be exact. It's been tough, still have some pain and some infection a month later. I hope to bounce back soon and get that 8 ft tall and bullet proof feeling. Haven't picked the next race, it will be something in June and then Desnews Marathon in July. We'll see how this unfolds.

You have to run against who shows up. Third place is great, even if you aren't satisfied with your time. That's a pretty sick 5k pr you have listed...no wonder you are a bit upset. I'm sure once you get "right" from your dental adventure, you'll be back in the SPEED.
