10 miles out and back from home. Nice run today, 61° 1:24:43 8:28 ave pace. Had to stop abut 4.5 miles into the run to wait for a rancher to move his 40 head of cattle down the road. Turns out, all forty head were bulls. The rancher stopped me in the road and told me to wait, so we chatted a bit. He told me each bull gets 20 cows to himself. It was quite a sight seeing this heard of bulls coming down the street. They were snorting and grunting, head butting each other and pushing one another into the ditch on the side of the road. It was quite a sight. I was terrified as they got closer. |
