My wife, Teresa, has stayed by my side for over 21 years and I am a much better person as a result. Kristoffer, our only child, is now 15 and continues to exceed all my expectations. If you look in the dictionary under the word luck you will see my smiling face.

Got the 4.0 mile jog does as the sun set which made the last mile or so very lonely as I ran in the dark and cold. Pace was very slow which was fitting for the first run of the new year.

2.00 miles done at an incredibly slow pace as the wind and cooler temps diminished my desire to be outdoors.

Somehow managed to get through 2.00 miles at a quicker pace though for the second night in a row I was unable to fall asleep until far too late. Tomorrow is a 5K time trial to judge where I stand as I pick up the training schedule in earnest.
