Today I ran 5 with a 2 mile tempo. I ran with Hunter after our family played some flag football. We started out at a decent pace up the hill around his house. We hit our tempo after 2.5 miles in. I felt really good and relaxed. I was by myself for most of the tempo because hunter was getting sick and I still felt really strong. I think I have finally figured out how to run fast for me...shut off my brain, relax, and run smooth. I am really excited for the race to come in California, because I have felt really strong (esp. on hills) and the footlocker course is very tough! |
