Today we ran on foremaster than on the rollercoasters at the middle school.  It was better, I worked on not thinking too much how I feel and just relaxing and running.  It felt good to not worry too much.  I ran a good couple of rollercoaster hills, but the last two were the hardest so I pushed through those.

Today we ran michigans!  I felt great!  I felt smooth and relaxed until the very last 800 (of the 2400 off the track) then I struggled to keep up with tyson.  But most of the workout I was right up on Tyson so that felt good.  I've figured out that I just need to relax and run!  Also, be positive!  That really helped today!

Ran out past Washington Academy and it was a good run!  I felt relax and really moving, although my hands became really frozen.  I am excited to show what I am really worth at California in Footlocker Juniors Race!  I think I could do really well in that race!

Today I ran 5 with a 2 mile tempo.  I ran with Hunter after our family played some flag football.  We started out at a decent pace up the hill around his house.  We hit our tempo after 2.5 miles in.  I felt really good and relaxed.  I was by myself for most of the tempo because hunter was getting sick and I still felt really strong.  I think I have finally figured out how to run fast for me...shut off my brain, relax, and run smooth.  I am really excited for the race to come in California, because I have felt really strong (esp. on hills) and the footlocker course is very tough!

Ran over by my grandparents house and I felt really relaxed and strong most of the way (at the end the muscle below the ball of my calf was sore) and I had to slow down because I looked at the Garmin and it said I was going 5:50-6:00 pace and so I slowed down.  I felt really strong though and it felt easy to go that pace.  Once again, this really get's me excited and pumped for California this next week!

Today I ran 6 with 4x200 m fartleks.  I felt alright until about 3 1/2 miles into it the muscle below the ball of my calf tighten and started to hurt.  I had to stop and stretch twice after that.  I think it was due to not stretching very well before and after runs.
