Long, hard, lonely, and hot miles.  I was hoping for much faster but I got slow, at least they were pain free...well at least the hammy didn't give me trouble 20 miles is never pain free!

At mile 13.47 I got stung by a wasp!  It killed for the rest of the run and quit frankly I am blaming it for my slow times!

I forgot to stop my watch at the street lights from mile 16 on so they are off but I doubt they would be much faster.  I walked the mile 20 (it is up a big hill)

Here are the splits: 9:30, 9:17, 9:11, 9:24, 9:34, 9:21, 9:21, 9:06, 9:07, 9:16, 9:09, 9:20, 9:30, 9:41 (wasp mile) 10:28, (up hill at 1000 north) 10:34, 9:48, 11:45 (long traffic light I hope!) 10:30, 16:40

I put this as an easy 10 miles but it was far from easy.  I ran with Nick and he wanted to feel marathon pace.  He wants to finish in 4 hours so his pace is 9:06.  After running 20 miles yesterday I was not sure how it would go but I was willing to give it a try.

Splits:9:03, 8:55, 8:42, 9:05, 9:42, (hill so still marathon pace effort), 8:58, 9:33 (I am cooked I tell him to go on), 10:00, 10:16, 15:43 (Walked the big hill mile)

Slept in way to late and then got to busy to run, I guess I needed a rest day

easy 5 I pushed a few of the miles to punish myself for not running yesterday.  Really not that tough of a punishment.

splits:  8:57, 8:46, 9:06, 8:48, 8:37

I was late getting to the gym, couldn't find my keys anywhere.  After looking for 40 minutes the thought came to me "maybe my daughter used them last night" I brushed it off why would she use my keys and not her own.  Finally out of desperation I crept into her room, she was still asleep, and there next to her computer were my keys!

I only had time to do 5 miles on the elliptical and I forgot to see how long it took me.

Lifted for legs even the hammy!

This was going to be a 6 fast miles followed by 6 slow miles while I ran with a friend...but they were all slow I was just not feeling it this morning.  Part of it was I was sacred to death.  I started at 4:45 and one mile into my run a guy started running behind me and he wouldn't pass no matter how slow I went.  Later when I ran by a chain link fence it started to shake.  I am not sure if the wind shook it or if deer were jumping over it but I peed a little!  Anyway that is why I was so slow for the first six.

splits: 9:51, 9:34, 9:27, 10:14, 9:35, 9:22, 10:10, 11:15, 11:08, 11:14, 10:58, 10:36

I hope every one who raced today had a great time!
