14 miles above the smog!!! The hills were still hard but at least my calfs behaved. I finished 13 miles at 2:05:00 which means I need to cut ten minutes off my time to meet my goal next week - This is how I plan to do that. Running shoes instead of trail shoes = one minute Less hills = one minute Race day magic = one minute aid stations = one minute Warmer temperatures = one minute Well I can only come up with 5 minutes I guess that will have to do :) If you can come up with 5 more let me know.
