James and ran in the Smithfield turkey trot last year and decided to do it again this year. It was poring rain! We were soaked before we even started the race. About mile 3 it started snowing off and on and ended with lots more rain. I don't mind running in the rain when I can go home right when I am done, shower, and change into dry clothes. We were so cold and wet that it was miserable waiting around for the results. We eventually took off and didn't get our ribbons for placing in our age division. I was a little sore I gues but felt really good after. Just really cold. |
