I found my shoes! They were in a garbage can my daughter never empties. They didn't feel as good as I remembered, though.
To celebrate 12/12/12, I ran 12.12 miles. It felt pretty good.

Nice touch with the 0.12! You're the only one I've seen on this and other blogs who thought to tack on the most important extra bit. And way to find the shoes. Mystery solved.
