| 3 real easy in the morning. Felt good.
Track workout in the afternoon. 4x200, 1x600, 1x400, 1x300, 1x200. Everything was at goal 800 pace except for the first 2 200s which were at 1600 pace. Really good effort for me today, and a great confidence booster going into BYU this weekend. I was able to hit the times, and hit the 600 time right on for the first time ever in practice. I've done this workout or something similar many times and that 600 is always the tough one, so this was a big workout for me. And I really felt it afterwards. Got super light headed and thought for sure I was going to throw up, but fortunately I didn't. #blessed

6 easy around the ridge in the afternoon. Pretty toasty today. A little tired, but it's all good. I will get some more sleep tonight.

| 3 in the mornizzle.
Track workout in the afternizzle. Similar to Monday's workout. 2x400, 3x300, 1x200 all at goal 800 pace. Legs were a little tired from Monday's workout but it was a good push on tired legs. Solid workout heading into the 800 this weekend, hoping to do some big stuff. I think I barely made it into the golden hour with my time from PV, so it should be fun.

| Jogged around a little bit to stay loose throughout the day, not sure on the exact mileage because I forgot my watch. Super hot today, and I forgot my water bottle so that sucked a little bit.

| Went for a couple of shakeout runs earlier in the day to stay loose for my race later in the evening. 4:45 was the scheduled time for the race but they were a little behind so I think I raced a little after 5 or 5:30. I think I timed everthing really well, and I was in the bullpen for less than 5 minutes, which was a first. It seems like usually I'm in there for an hour. I was a little nervous at the line because I was the very outside person and I wanted to get out well, so I was a little tense and almost jumped before the gun. Got out into a good position, and stayed there for about 700m, but kind of got boxed in on the last turn and really tightened up last 100m, fell from 5th to 10th on the last straight. If I would have run 1 second faster I would have been 5th in my heat insted of 10th, and 6th overall instead of 13th. Overall, not a bad race, but I know I could've done better. I have put in some quality workouts the past couple weeks that are really going to help me at region and state. I just have to stay relaxed in the last 100m and trust it.
