| Good 3 miles this morning. I can't remember specifically what we were talking about, but I remember laughing a lot. Always good to start the day off running with some of your buds.
Early out at school so that was grand. The workout after school went pretty good. We did a 2 mile warm up, then I did 2x200 at :33 to sort of get the legs going, then 2x200 at :29 to get the pace down for the other splits. After that was a 600 at 1:27 (I was a couple seconds off on this one, 1:29-30), then a 400 at :58, a 300 at :43, and a 200 at :28, with 1 mile cool down. Pretty good workout today, and a good workout going into BYU this weekend. I feel good and I'm hoping for a fast time on Saturday.

| 3 miles this morning. Before my run I checked the entries to BYU on runnercard and I had the 11th fastest time in the 800, which puts me in the golden hour I think. If I am, that is going to be a sweet race!
In the afternoon I did 6.5 miles easy with 8x100m barefoot strides on the turf. I'm super excited for this weekend and I hope that I will be able to get out and race well and be one step closer to Brigham's record.

| Spectrum Wednesday in the morning. In the afternoon we did sort of a shorter workout but high intensity. 2.5 mile warm up, 2x400, 3x300, 1x200, 1 mile cool down. I felt good, I hit my times even with the little bit of wind so that was good. Ice bath afterwards and I feel great.

| Had to get up about an hour earlier today to get my morning run in because I had an AP review at the high school. Super tired for the rest of the day. The bus ride to Provo was long because we had bus malfunctions on two different buses about a half an hour away from St George, but fortunately the third one they sent out worked. 3 miles in Nephi in our way up.

| Watched some races then went out for a short run, 4 miles easy with some strides. I felt really good.

| Weird race, I felt tired on the warm up but I didn't think anything of it. I got out fine, and felt good through 600m, but after that I felt like I ran into a wall, when I'm usually kicking here. Kind of a sucky race but I'm looking forward to region and state.
