AM- good 3 RACE- the false start kinda scared me, but i needed it cuz my first start wasn't so good. well, I felt pretty strong throughout the race, and my second aunt and cousin were there, he ran and my aunt cheered for me! that helped, so did all the team's cheering, particularly megan and both coaches- thanks much! I kept on trying to pass people, and passed the dixie team:) but i didn't have as good of a kick as I should've had. then i looked at my time and i was about a minute behind Taylor Boyer and a minute and a half behind Liz, so that kinda made me disappointed with myself. I think the next step is to keep being strong but amp up the pace and like coach said, dare to go for it. i think there is more in me that i am just scared to try to use. but the best part of the race was..... MY SHOES DIDN'T COME UNTIED! happy day! i like this course, its pretty good. |
