Slept 8 hours last night!!  Ate an awesome breakfast made by Troy's uncle in Manti.  Drove home with the girls at 1000am with grandma.  Troy left earlier for a church meeting.  Happy Father's Day to him!!  At least I got the girls packed and unpacked and showered and ready for church on time at 1pm!!

4 @ 8:43 AP.  Back/hamstrings bugging me A LOT!!  Physical therapist/ex BYU track runner said I don't engage my glutes when I run, meaning I don't pull thru with my kick off.  Basically I am wasting energy or I do this cause my hamstrings are so tight.  I am supposed to do bounding  running now before and  after every run to practice running like an antelope.  He showed me.  He sure was very smooth.  Oh and I looked AWFUL on the treadmill.  When we went outside he said I was like a whole different runner!!!!  See I knew I hated the TM.  He said some people tense up on the TM and then under stride.  I was going slower on the TM then I usually get up to (6.7) so  that might have changed my gait a bit.   Funny, nonetheless.  I have a lot of work to do.  He gave me hamstring exercises to do and core.  I also have signs of a tethered cord but he said he would work with me with physio before jumping into thinking surgery is necessary to release it.  My hamstrings are extremely tight he said.  I can only lift my legs 40 degrees and should at least be able to do 60 degrees.  My nerve pain is through both legs and hips equally.  My lower back is always in pain now.  A friend on my Ragnar Relay Team gave me a book on Healing Your Back Pain by Dr. Sarno.   He basically says that back pain is due to Tension Myosotis Syndrome, mainly brought on by stress/repressed anger/anxiety.  I haven't gotten to the place in the book that tells me how to "wish" it a way.  I agree to a point but I would rather not have the pain even if I am repressing stuff so I could run like I like to already.  I don't think that I am repressing my real desire to want to run.  Blah, Blah.

10 @ 8:09.  Walked two miles.  Back in trouble.  Hamstrings not being nice.  Neck out of wack from post-chiropractic care at Ragnar then 7 Peaks. Went to MY chiropracter.  Ahhh.  Much better but tendons and nerves still ticked off.  Back Book not helping.  Not sure I believe that every thing is in my head.  That's like saying I cut myself--deeply-- and don't need stitches.  He (the Author) is a little over the top.  Its like he puts all people in one category, overweight, poor eaters, exercisers and non exercisers and they are all repressing their emotional pain through their back and if we can just simply realize that voila back pain resolved.  I agree with some of his points but medically AND scientifically it doesn't add up.   BTW now I am trying to repress the fact that my new Hoover Windtunnel-- lowest model, just at two holes in my carpet.  The roller on the bottom doesn't stop rolling when you use hose part of the vaccum.  I had noticed this when I started using the vacuum so I would try to keep it on the highest level (distance the rollers can be from the carpet where it says "carpet") and move my vacuum from time to time.  But this time I was too late.  It ate right through my carpet from overheating and the continuous rolling in the upright position.  Errrrr!!!!!  I am waiting for customer service to call back on Monday.  Just irritating trying to get things done before work and matters were made worse.  It was bound to happen sooner or later. It's only about a month old.  Better when I was using it then one of my kids.  No one to blame but self AND vacuum.  My old vacuum shuts off the roller when I use the hose.  I think most vacuums do.  Geez!!!
