The group was meeting at SJ soccer fields. I love when we meet there because I know there will be a bathroom close by and I had to use it twice today. I don't know what's wrong with me. I got there 20 minutes early and got about 2.2 miles in before the workout started. When everyone got there, we ran an easy paced 2 miles. For the workout, we did 4 x 1200 with a 2 minute recovery between. We started at 2200 and ran down to Redwood for repeats 1 and 3 and in reverse for 2 and 4. The downhill repeats were at about 6:30-6:45 pace. The uphill repeats were about 30 seconds per mile slower. Then I ran until I hit 9 miles. It rained a little while we ran and was very humid. Just as I finished, the rain really started coming down. There are some big changes at work going this week that I'm really happy about.
