We met at Dimple Dell for our first WB run of the year. We started out slow and warmed up for several miles. I'd forgotten how hard that dang hill is. I was breathing so hard, I had to walk before I got to the top. I hate that. I'm giving myself a month to be in good enough shape to make it to the top without stopping. On the way back we stopped at the church to use the bathroom. I ended up being sick the rest of the day. I'm not sure if its just from pushing myself too hard or if it's the gu or dehydration or what. I've had that happen in too many races. I want to get this figured out. Average pace 8:34. |
