Running Accomplishments:

I've been running since junior high. Ran middle distance in college with a PB of 1:52 for the 800 meters, then continued running with varying degrees of seriousness throughout my 20's and 30's. Moved up in distance and even ran three marathons (2:43 PB). Now just trying to stay in shape and find balance in life in my 40's.

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Work out 30 minutes a day, six days a week

 

 

 

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy and consistent.

Married with 3 children. Work as a school counselor.

Trails were a little muddy but runable. Had a great late afternoon run with Mat. Did the loop in reverse, which makes it harder. Lots and lots of deer out, including two that were pure white (albino?).

Canal Banks - 30:32

Ran fairly easy on the canals, and did some short hill sprints (8 x 10-15 seconds) on Aurora Hill during the middle of the run.

I did a little progression run tonight. Miles were approx 8:22, 7:33, 7:08, 6:49 and 6:26. Nothing great, but a little bit faster than I've gone in a few months. So far the body feels good.

Weights - 10 minutes ( 2 sets of lunges, step-ups, leg presses and calves)
