Ran middle distance in college with a PB of 1:52 for the 800 meters, then continued running with varying degrees of seriousness throughout my 20's and 30's. Moved up in distance and even ran three marathons (2:43 PB). Now just trying to stay in shape and find balance in life in my 40's.

| South Fork Rd. - 1:01
Great run from the Alder Creek Bridge upstream and back. Cool morning (high 30s) with quite a bit of fog hanging in the canyon. Felt really good, like maybe this is the turning point in my running right now. Went out at about 7:45/mile pace and came back at about 7:00/mile pace, including a 0.7 mile pickup at the end at 6:25/mile pace.

Ran at 8 a.m. at about 7:50/mile pace. Didn't feel great, but it was a good start to get back into the swing of things.

Pushed the double stroller with both girls and ran with Emily in the dark. Ave pace of about 11:00/mile.

Ran at 7:30 a.m. I have trainings off campus all week and don't have to be there until 9 a.m., so I was able to run in the light. Easy pace of about 7:55/mile. Sub 8 is fine for me when it's early, cold and I'm out of shape.

Early morning run with Roger, Mark E. and some other folks in Twin Falls. Started in the pouring rain, ended up a decent day. Admire this group for their dedication and always getting out and making running fun.
P.M. - CSI indoor track - 32+
Ran mostly with Emily and some with Karl and Jacob. 14 laps to the mile would get tedious on a regular basis but it was actually a lot of fun for today.
