Back in Montana for work until Wednesday night.  The weather here cannot make up its mind - snow, sun clouds, lots of snow, sun, flurries.  Ran 4 on the hotel treadmill:

Mile 1 - 9:22

Mile 2 - 9:05 1% incline

Mile 3 - 8:46 1% incline

Mile 4 - 9:12

Very technical report from me.  Not the norm.  Leg felt pretty good after the first mile.

Happy Running!

Couldn't run yesterday due to some serious stomach issues.  I decided it would be better to avoid the hotel treadmill.  Got up today ready to go at 5:30 and the hotel fitness center did not open until 6:00 am. I did not have time to wait because I have to be to the hospital early.  I wish you could get credit for effort and intent. I have learned a valueable lesson, however.  When traveling bring both indoor and outdoor gear.  Back at it tomorrow in SLC.

Happy Running!

Glad to be back home -- hopefully I will get to stay home for a few weeks before the "big" trip.   Went out with Paula and we ran the big block.  The second mile is all up hill and my leg was feeling really good today so I was able to push just a little.  The rest is flat and downhill and felt really good.  I am very excited about todays run but have to remember to still take it easy and not rush back to fast.

I am looking at my very sad pathetic mileage over the last few weeks.  Not very good at all.  Hopefully todays run is the start of the road back not just fluke.

An easy 3 with Paula.  My leg was a little achy the entire way and I realized that I did not stretch enough after yesterday or roll out my legs with "the stick" because I was running late.  Extra stretching and rolling today plus a little IB and I should be okay.  Wish my husband was in town to work on my calf but I will have to wait until Sunday.

Today was my longest run since March 25.  It felt pretty good overall. My leg felt better as time went on but I tired easily due to lack of training over the last few weeks.   We had a good headwind the last couple of miles and I feel so slow, it is frustrating.  Off to a busy Saturday filled with girls softball and scout service projects.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.
